Field Trip Reflections

posted Mar 14, 2014, 3:32 AM by Micah Mobley

For today's trip, I am not assigning a big project, or paper (as of right now).  I think the whole experience in itself will prove to be a fun and educational opportunity.  Should we not get full participation, and see a need to address it more formally, then the full assignment will be kicked in.

INSTEAD of a big assignment, what I would like you to take note of, and prepare for our wrap-up discussion at the end of our trip, are the following questions:

  • What are some places that you can get to now that were previously unavailable to you?
  • What is something you observed or experienced during our trip that you found interesting?
  • What did you learn about a "business lunch" that you might not have known heading into today?
  • What did you find most surprising from the whole experience?

This trip will address some things that we have seen as a major roadblock for this year's group.  Keep an open mind and you will get more out of the experience and you will enjoy it more.  And as a wise man once said, "Being happy is where it's at!".
